Dual Credit Registrations are due!
A reminder to all that are taking a Dual Credit class 2nd semester that your registration must be turned into Leigh in the main office by this Friday, January 21st.

Powder Puff Volleyball
Attention all males! Do you have what it takes to play volleyball? Sign up for the inaugural male powder puff volleyball game. Freshman through seniors can play! Gather your team and pick up a copy of the rules and a permission form from the main or activities office.

Girls Soccer:
For all girls interested in playing girls soccer this spring, please stop by Coach DuBois' room 303 this week to access our Google Classroom for 2022. Open gyms will begin this Sunday from 12:00-1:45pm in the Main Gym.

Winter snowball week is starts next Monday! We will have powder puff volleyball, Hall of Fame pep rally and three athletic bouts with the Riders. Theme days are as follows Monday: Icon day - dress as any iconic movie star, singer, athlete, artist! Tuesday: Neon - Aim to be the brightest you can! Wednesday: Rock Band vs. Boy Band which side will you choose? Thursday: Central Pride - Fill the halls with maroon and grey. Friday: Flannel day - Break out that lumber jack look!

There are still a few spaces left in this year's Law Enforcement Career Forum which will be held this Thursday (January 20) from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. It's your opportunity to meet with reps from 11 different law enforcement agencies to help you decide if a career in law enforcement is right for you. Now open to all Grade Levels. Sign up in the Career Center.

Any girls interested in Girls Softball are welcome to come to the open gyms starting this Sunday in the Main Gym from 5:00-7:00.

Snowball Dance
The snowball dance will be held on Saturday, January 29th from 7-10pm in the GFC lower gym. Tickets to the snowball dance will go on sale next week during lunch Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Tickets are $10 in advance $15 at the door. Buy early and save!

CTE Day:
Thinking of attending Lake Region State College after graduation? Sign up to travel to Devils Lake on February 1, 2022 for CTE Day where you can learn about programs offered in Business, Technology, Nursing/Human Services and Law Enforcement. Open to all Grade Levels. Transportation and lunch are provided for free. Sign up in the Career Center in the Counseling Dept.

Senior students:
The WorkKeys test is being offered at GFC on Tuesday, 1/25. Students trying to qualify for the ND Career and Technical Education scholarship may choose to take this test. The cost for the WorkKeys test is $36 (or $12 for each of the three tests). If you have questions about the ND scholarships, please see Ms. Bailey in the counseling office.
