School Pictures:
Picture retake or Picture Make up day will be this Wednesday, November 19th from 9:00 - 10:00. If you missed pictures and still need a picture packet we have a few left in the main office.


Girls Basketball:
There will be a Girls Basketball Meeting on Monday, November 17 in the Lower Gym at 3:30pm. Girls can turn in their white cards to Coach Mathison at this Meeting.


Annual Dodgeball Tournament
Nothing beats a GFC Dodgeball Tournament and right now you can play for $50! That's only $5 each for a team of 10! Register now for the GFC Dodgeball tournament! All proceeds will go towards the annual Greater Grand Forks Community Pajama Drive! Forms can be picked up in the office and are due November 26th.


UND Mock Trials:
Have you considered a career as a lawyer? Stop by the Career Center today to learn about how you can participate in the UND Mock Trials which are taking place on November 11th, 12th, and 19th.


The Giving Tree!
The Annual Giving Tree is back! Stop by the table in the main hallway during 1st and 2nd lunch to pick up a slip or two or more to help local children in need of gifts for this upcoming holiday season! We have over 160 kids that need gifts that won't receive a gift without your help and support!


Book of the Week
The book of the week at GFC's library is Source Code: My Beginning by Bill Gates. In this book, the software giant explores his personal journey, recounting his early influences, friendships, family and first steps in computing that paved the way for his revolutionary career. This title is in and ready to be checked out!


Attention GFC:
FBLA students are raising money for National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week this week. All proceeds will go towards the New Start Nook Program here in Grand Forks to help families get back on their feet. FBLA members will be going door to door to request donations. The class with the highest donation total will receive two dozen donuts! Please consider donating!


Construction and Trades Career Series
The Career Center has joined forces with Scouting America's Exploring program to launch a specialized Construction and Trades Career Series with Construction Engineers. This new series will provide students with an invaluable, hands-on look into the high-demand fields of construction, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, welding, carpentry, and more. These workshops will take place on select early out Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30pm. Stop by the Career Center for more information today!
