Summer School
Are you looking to open up room in your school schedule for another elective or a free period? Sign up for Summer School before it is too late, registration closes on Friday, May 9th! Summer School will run from June 2nd-July 9th at Red River High School. Talk to your counselor for more information.
Graduation Speakers:
Attention graduating seniors! Are you interested in being one of the 3 speakers for graduation? If so, please sign up in the Main Office with Leigh. There will also be a description of what the speech should entail on the sign up sheet. Auditions will be held at 3:10pm Tuesday, May 13th in the Blackbox Theatre with Ms. Dewar. If you have questions or concerns please email or stop and see Ms. Dewar.

Join us at the 2025 high school student job fair in the Central gym on Wednesday, May 7th. Meet with up to 50 local businesses who will share information about their summer or year-round employment, internships, and work-based learning opportunities. Sign up is required. Stop down at the Career Center to reserve your spot today!

Join the Career Center for the Legal Career forum at the Grand Forks County Courthouse the morning of Thursday, May 15th. This unique career experience allows you to observe daily court proceedings and then visit with judges, attorneys, clerks, and others! Reserve your spot in the Career Center today.
Attention National Technical Honor Society inductees
There will be a mandatory practice Wednesday May 7th at 3:00 pm in the Auditorium. If you cannot attend this practice please contact Mrs. Beauchamp or Mr. Carlson.
Post PROM at Northern Air:
Post Prom tickets will be sold this week in the Main Hallway during both lunches for $15 a person, or go up in price to $20 at the door. This event runs from 10:45pm -2:30am with doors closing at 12:30am. A waiver must be signed by a parent if you are under 18.
Prom:
Prom will be held this Saturday, May 10th. Tickets are being sold during 1st and 2nd lunch Monday - Thursday this week . Tickets are $30 per person and will NOT be sold on Friday, May 9th! Make sure to purchase your tickets in advance! Reminder, ALL detention hours must be made up prior to purchasing your tickets. If you are bringing a guest who does NOT attend GFC, you need to have your permission slip signed by a principal during passing time or during lunch in the commons by Thursday. Don't forget to sign up for your Grand March time. The times are either 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. Grand March is free to walk in, formal attire is required. On the day of Prom, students are asked to not take pictures at Cloud9 or in the lobby of the Olive Ann Hotel. Doors to the dance will not open until 8:00 PM. Students should enter through the 2nd level of the parking garage and use the skywalk.
Northrop Grumman Career Forum:
Are you interested in engineering, information technology, unmanned aircraft, or cybersecurity? May 21st is your chance to tour Northrop Grumman and learn about in-demand careers available in our backyard. All students must be signed up by May 14th and spots are limited.
