JOB FAIR:
The 3rd annual Cash In Job Fair will be at GFC on Thursday, March 19, 2026 in the main gym. A variety of employers will be there sharing opportunities for full-time, part-time, and summer employment, as well as apprenticeships and other training programs. Sign up in the Career Center today. Don't miss this great opportunity!


Altru Summer Internship
Altru is currently accepting applications for their Summer 2026 School-to-Career Internship Program. If you are 16 or older, you are eligible to apply for this competitive internship in the areas of ambulance, information technology, radiology, therapy support services, and nursing assistant. Applications are due March 31st! Stop in the Career Center for more information.


Detention:
Students may serve detention Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00am. You must be in the entry way of Door 1, when Mr. Paintner comes down to let you in at 7:00. Detention is also held in the Commons on Saturday mornings from 8:00-12:00 and in the Commons on our Wednesday early outs from 1:00-3:00. All Detention must be served to go to PROM or walk in graduation.


Softball Meeting:
There is a meeting for anyone interested in playing softball next Monday, March 9th in the Media Center at 3:15. Please bring your white card to this meeting. Everyone is welcome.


New Deli Hours:
Starting today the deli will be open during passing time and then will only be open for both the 1st 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes of periods 1-4. If the deli gate is down, the deli is closed. Teachers, we are asking that you not allow your students to go to the commons during the 30 minutes that the deli is closed.


Sanford Career Forum:
Sanford MedX is hosting an evening event to learn about careers in Nutrition and Dietetics on Monday, March 30th from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. Stop by the Career Center for sign-up information!


Purchasing a PROM ticket.
Students, If you are planning to attend Prom on May 2nd, you must have all of your detention hours made up in order to purchase a ticket. Tickets will not be sold to anyone until their hours are made up. No exceptions will be made.


Baseball Meeting:
There will be a Baseball meeting for anyone interested in trying out for baseball this spring on Tuesday, March 10 at 3:15pm in the Media Center. Please bring your white cards if you have them.

Go Knights!
Boys Basketball will play Red River at the EDC Tournament today at 2:00pm in the Consolation Loser Out game. The Winner advances to tomorrow's state qualifying round. GFC Boys Basketball parents will be paying for the first 35 students to arrive at the North Ticket Gate of the SHAC between 1:15 and 1:45 today! Please give yourself enough time to travel to Fargo with the road conditions and drive safely! Theme is Jerseys!
